I have a Sony DVD Handycam (that records on mini-DVDs) I want to record TV programmes with it. My camera has a video input function, using this I am able to record audio/video from DVD/CD players. But when I connect the TV video output with the camera's video input the camera only records sound and not Video. Please tell me how can I use my Camera to Record TV shows. Someone else posted this same question and all the answers say to make sure that u finalize the dvd after recording, but I'm pretty sure that our recorder does that on its own. Do I have to go thru the menu and finalize it also? My son has a school project due involving this and unfortunately my video camera runs on mini tapes instead of mini dvds! Life would be sooo much easier if I would have just spent a few more dollars and bought the mini dvd video camera instead of the mini tape one! Thanks to all for your help!! (more...)
