I have an Insignia Portable DVD Player and it's not even 2 years old yet and it's already having problems! It was awesome when it worked, but now when I put a DVD in, it gets stuck loading the movie. And when it starts to play, it freezes. Any help here? (more...)

I have an Insignia Portable DVD Player, not sure what model but i could check if needed. Anyway i bought it December 06' so it's roughly 1 1/2 yrs old, it has worked great and i can't say i've ever had any real problems with it, it reads all types of discs perfectly and is used almost daily. Recently however it stopped reading dvd's and was only reading cd's for a few days and then it stopped reading any discs at all now, it turns on fine and the disc is spinning most times but it simply says no disc on the screen... Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and if it makes sense to have it repaired or should i simply purchase a new one? Please don't just say it's not working because i know that already... Ok so quick edit... I purchased a lense cleaner this morning to no avail. This did not help at all as the disc was spinning but was not being read by the player, it again said no disc... (more...)
