I have been with this guy for 2 years and some months. We met at college because we both worked with a ministry group. during the two years of our relationship there were alot of issue that came up. some of them we dealt with very well others not so well (an I realize now the error of what was) but we got along swimmingly. we both have the same basic values and beliefs which makes thongs easer so i'm told. We were talking about marriage shortly inot our relaitonship about 10 months or so and we started looking at rights at about 16 months then he asked my dad if he could marry me. Shortly after that we got into a fight over some little stupid thing and he broke up with me in a fit of anger. Now 6 months later-- I am still working with that campus ministry group in fact I am on staff now so it it is not something I take lightly or am willing to quit doing. the guy I was with is also fairly deeply involved in the group as well. we still have to interact, he follows me around, pulls me aside to talk to me, attends my church (which i admit we had started going to 4 month before he broke it off) walks me to my car after group, and tells me he cares about me, buys me housewarming gifts and wants to get me a Christmas gift. It is driving me NUTS because I still love him but he tells me he doesn't want a relationship with me or with anyone right now. instead he is trying to be friends with me but isn't really what I consider to be a friend because friends talk, communicate and do fun things together and we rarely do any of these and I can never get him to be serious with me and address the issues I need to talk about (but then do guys ever really want to talk about these things) my friends say I should forget about him (and stop interacting with him which would be wrong because that would mean i would have to quit with this group) or find another guy to make him jealous. is there any other way to get him to get it or is he just a stuborn boy.
