Each year, I plan our company holiday party. And every year we give out gift cards and prizes. We normally just pull names out of a hat and that person wins the prize. However, this year I wanted it to be a little more fun, maybe someone would have to do something to win the prize. We have over 100 employees so I don't need anything that's going to be too confusing or time consuming. At first I thought of a silent auction..guest would guess on the value of a prize..but that would take a lot of work on my part, if we had 100+employees and 20+ gifts to do it for..then i thought maybe a trivia game of some sort.... Any ideas? This event is pretty upscale, we always have it at one of the best hotels in Boston. I am a secretary to the President of a resort. We are having a hard time coming up with a holiday gift to give his department head managers. Help! His price range is $100 to $150 each. The present needs to be the same thing and unisex (something men and women would enjoy). My boss doesn't want any type of clothing to give them. He doesn't want to give them a briefcase, computer case, watch, portable dvd player, GPS unit, and digital photo grame, to name a few, we looked over. I looked up on the internet "corporate gifts' and 'holiday gifts' but even corporate gifts are horrible trophies or pens, or desk accessories, yuk. Does anyone have any ideas????
